We are delighted to announce that Younis Neyaz Ahmed Al Maazmi has been awarded the Doctor of Engineering Management (Honoris Causa) jointly awarded by QAHE and American University of Business and Social Sciences. This prestigious honor is in recognition of Mr. Al Maazmi’s significant contributions to the field of engineering, particularly in the areas of maintenance management, vocational education, and operation and maintenance of various facilities.
Mr. Al Maazmi’s impressive credentials include a PhD in Workforce Education, Development and Operations Research from Provident University, USA, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Higher Colleges of Technology-Ruwais College, and a Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from Higher College of Technology (DMC, Dubai). He has also been a professional member of several prestigious institutes, including the Institute of Engineers and Technologists UK, the Institute of Physics UK, IEEE, ASHRAE, WERC, and IAKS, among others.
With 16 years of experience in operation, maintenance, and projects for general buildings, utility plants, recreational and sports facilities, digital signage, and CATV systems in Al Dhannah City, Mr. Al Maazmi has demonstrated a deep understanding of his field. He has also played an active role in the development of faculty of engineering curriculum and work placement on the job training program for Higher Colleges of Technology, and is an active member of the HCT Industry Advisory Committee.
